White water rafting - Kundalika river

Hey Guys

This post is about Rafting – White water rafting on Kundalika river one of the adventures things you can do in Pune. This was second time for me, we went with V Adventure, and we give full marks to V-adventure and team Shankar the main guide, Amit, Ganpat for the experience. The rafting spot is new Vile village about 100Km, 2 hours drive from Pune, if it’s raining you can get to see lots of waterfalls and excellent scenery. It was a week day and we were the only group for rafting (good for us).The 12KM rafting path has 9-11 rapids I recall some of the names of some rapids are welcome to budhiya, pump house, crow nest, Jonnie walker, double fucker, morning headache, butterfly, fisher man. We clicked some excellent shots, especially those when our raft was in middle of Jonnie walker, sharing those wonderful moments through this Blog.


















This is Kayaking (Kayaking is the use of a kayak for moving across water)two kayakers Jai and Viru (that's what everyone was calling them) were with us for help.

Dhak - Thrilling experiance

Hey Guys

Dhak Bhiri - A very exciting trek near Kamshet on Mumbai highway. The place is very beautiful and dangerous. You need to walk for 2 hours to reach the rocks….. On the top there is a small mandir. Try this trek if you like adventures……It is closed during heavy rains so try this in winter season. If you visit the place during rainy season it’s very dangerous but beautiful lots of craps on the way….. They are always in a defensive mood (attack is best defense for them :) )

Karde Beach - Dapoli, Maharashtra

This time it's the Karde beach near Dapoli

"Heaven of Earth" - that’s how I would describe Karde beach………… if you like staying away from the crowd and love watching the waves you will love Karde beach….. 200KM from Pune….approx 5 hours of drive. It’s a perfect place for a weekend picnic… the place is too good to be missed.. if you like beaches, this is sumthg you shud not
Harnai bandar is next to Karde…. It’s a place for "fish auction…". I got to see lot of new species of fishes that I had not seen before…. the price of fish out here is unbelievable....

Suvarnadurg fort is a few minutes away by boat from harnai Bandar….The beach on which Suvarnadurg fort is located is like a virgin beach with golden sand…..the local fishermen can take you there in their fishing
Konkan is also known for it’s people…. Everyone we interacted with, in the 2 days that we stayed there were so nice to us…. We just loved the place, the food and the people……

this is one place you cant afford to miss......

Wai - Panchgani

This post is about Wai Panchgani trip…. Very beautiful place…..film shooting destination for bollywood…. The mandir that you see in snaps is the same that you saw in film Gangajal, the other place is Dhom dam… the same place where Swadesh was shot…… Paragliding is also available near wai…… the charge is appros Rs. 1500/-…….. Don’t miss Mapro garden near penchgani….. All the flowers are from the same place…
