J&K, Laddakh 2015

Bike @ Jammu railway station! I was warned that the bike will get damaged in train parcel and many such things. In reality, it was received in perfect condition without any damage at all... very good packing done by guys at Pune railway station

Consecutive 3rd year @Dal lake. This year was different though. Last year's floods caused a lot of damage and people seemed devastated with loss of property and opportunities

Morning at Dal Lake

In Zozi-La pass... Zozi-La pass is amongst the reasons for going back! It's less scary now, as the roads have been widened and Army is present on the pass..

With Jawans who protect our borders

The first sight of Laddakh natives after crossing Zozi-La pass. Cute kid climbing like a monkey on his father's head.
Laddakh people are the happiest people I have ever seen, despite of living in such harsh conditions they very peaceful...

The best things about bike ride is the opportunity to interact with locals. This time I kept the pillion seat vacant which allowed me to give lift to anyone who asked for it... these kids were going for fishing and were very inquisitive about where I am from and who is in my family... I must say - very smart kids
